Websight: terms of use
Last updated 19 October 2026. Plain terms. [Luke: have these checked before publishing; they are a draft, not legal advice.]
What Websight is
Websight is a browser extension that runs automated accessibility checks on web pages you choose, and helps you write reports. It is a testing aid for professionals. It is provided by Luke Rallings, a sole trader in the United Kingdom ("we", "us").
What it is not
Automated checks find only part of the accessibility problems on a page. Websight does not state or promise that any website meets WCAG, the European Accessibility Act, the Equality Act 2010, the Americans with Disabilities Act or any other standard or law. Its scores, reports and context pages are not legal advice and are not an accessibility conformance report. You are responsible for how you use the output, including what you tell your own clients.
Free and Pro
The free version gives unlimited scans, a score and an issue list. Pro adds reports, branding, multi-page audits, the library and exports. Pro is sold as a subscription through ExtensionPay and Stripe, with a 7-day free trial for new users. The price is shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time through ExtensionPay; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change for new periods with notice in the extension. Refunds: if something is broken and we cannot fix it, ask within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it. Consumers in the UK and EU keep any statutory rights.
Your data
Scan results and reports stay on your computer. See the privacy policy. You are responsible for the pages you scan and for any confidential content in reports you share.
Third-party software
The extension includes the open-source axe-core engine (Mozilla Public License 2.0) and pdf-lib (MIT), each under its own licence. See NOTICE.txt in the extension.
Liability
The extension is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from its use, including from results that are incomplete or wrong. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Contact: hello@careupkeep.co.uk.
